Our shop is at Shop No 3 on Station Road in Kalyan East. It’s right near Tanaji Chowk, which is always crowded with people heading to the station. We spend a lot of time in the back where the cooking happens. There is always a smell of spices or fresh rice in the air. We handle a lot of different events, mostly local weddings or small parties around Thane. It gets very busy during the wedding season, and the kitchen stays open late. We have a small team of cooks and people who help with the setups. We keep our equipment and big cooking pots in the storage area behind the shop. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work. On most mornings, you’ll see us unloading crates of vegetables or checking the delivery schedule. Station Road can be a nightmare with traffic, so we try to get our vans out early. We don't really do much advertising; people mostly just stop by the shop because they live nearby or saw us working at a friend's function. It’s a lot of physical work, moving tables and chairs and making sure the food stays hot. We’ve been in Kalyan for quite some time now, so we know most of the local suppliers. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right for the people in our community.
