Folksy Food

Folksy Food is tucked away in the National Storage Building, specifically in Office 115. If you know Mahim West, you know how crowded Senapati Bapat Road gets at all hours. We’ve been operating out of this space for a bit, and it’s a tight fit with all the paperwork and samples lying around. The building itself is one of those older spots that has seen a lot of history. There's no fancy lobby or anything, just a lift that usually works and a lot of stairs if it doesn't. We spend most of our time coordinating things from this small desk. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shut the windows, even when it’s hot. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it works for what we need to do. Usually, it's just a couple of us here making calls and checking on deliveries. We try to keep things simple because that's just easier to manage. People sometimes have trouble finding the entrance since the signs aren't the biggest, but once you're in, it’s pretty straightforward. We've got boxes stacked in the corner and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. It’s a busy little office in a busy part of Mumbai, and we just keep plugging away at the daily tasks. The city moves fast outside, but inside we just focus on the orders we have.
