Flash Forward Films

Flash Forward Films is basically us working out of a small space in Andheri West. We have Room 39 in Building C 8, and also Shop 3 at Mehul Pura Corner. It’s tucked away behind the Versova Telephone Exchange. If you live around here, you know it’s a bit of a maze. We like it though. It’s a real working neighborhood. There’s always someone filming something nearby. Our office is where we do all the planning and the editing. It’s not a big corporate studio. It’s more of a place where we sit around with coffee and look at screens. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy, but that’s just life in Mumbai. Being behind the exchange makes it easier for people to find us if they know the landmarks. We spend a lot of hours in Room 39. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when the whole team is in, but we make it work. It’s a practical setup. We’ve got our gear stashed in the shop at the corner. It’s a lot of lugging boxes and cables around. That’s the reality of film work that people don't see. We aren't trying to be the biggest production house in the city. We just want to make things that look decent. It’s a lot of long nights and early mornings in Andheri, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this spot for a few years and it suits us fine.
