Film Set Material Supplier

Our business, Film Set Material Supplier, is located in Gala No 40 inside the Wajid Ali Compound. This is in Andheri East, right behind the Dilshad Hotel. If you know the area, you know it is full of small workshops and warehouses. Our gala is packed to the ceiling with all kinds of materials that people need for building movie sets. We have piles of wood, metal scraps, and old bits of furniture that might look like junk to some, but they are exactly what an art director is looking for. The compound is a very busy place with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We don't have a fancy catalog or a website with photos. You just have to come down to the compound and see what we have in stock. It gets very dusty in here, especially when we are cutting wood for an order. We spend most of our time searching through the stacks to find that one specific piece someone needs for a shoot. Being near Dilshad Hotel is good because we go there for our lunch every day. The work is heavy and tiring, but it is interesting to see what the materials end up looking like on the screen. We have been in this spot for years and the walls are covered in old production notes and phone numbers. It’s just how we work and we don't plan on changing it.
