Film From India

We operate Film From India out of a flat in Goregaon West. It is Flat No 3 in Building No 226 on Roa Road. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite I B Patel School. Working from a residential building keeps things quiet and focused, though the school bell can be loud in the mornings. We deal with various aspects of the film industry, mostly coordinating things and handling paperwork. It is a small team here. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls. It's mostly just laptops, a few old posters on the wall, and a lot of coffee mugs. The film business in Mumbai is chaotic, so having this little base in Goregaon helps us stay sane. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sending emails. Sometimes we have to work late into the night because of deadlines, and the neighbors probably wonder what we are doing. We are not a big production house; we are more of a support unit for people who need help with their projects. It is a bit disorganized at times, especially when multiple projects happen at once. But we enjoy the work. We've been in this building for several years and know the security guards well. It’s a simple setup for a complicated industry, and that’s how we like to keep it. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
