Fedex Sonali Express

Down at Vile Parle East, specifically at Azad Nagar A-16, you’ll find us working away. Fedex Sonali Express is where we deal with all the boxes and envelopes people need to send out. The place is usually a bit of a mess with tape dispensers and weighing scales everywhere, but we know where everything is. Much of the day is spent measuring packages and filling out forms. It can get pretty repetitive, but we’ve gotten fast at it over the years. Some days the delivery trucks come early, and we have to rush to get everything loaded. Vile Parle is a tight-knit neighborhood, and many of our regulars are known by name. There isn't a big corporate counter; it’s just a desk where the paperwork gets handled. People come in worried about their packages reaching on time, and we do what we can to get them into the system correctly. A lot of lifting and moving stuff around happens here. There is no fancy waiting area. You just come in, drop your stuff, and we take care of the rest of the steps. Our office at A-16 is small but it serves the purpose. We just try to keep the parcels moving so they don't pile up in the corner. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till night. The labels have to be stuck on tight before the truck leaves.
