Fashion Craft

We are based in Ghatkopar East, over at Kailash Towers on 90-Feet Road. Our unit is number 25 in Vallabh Society. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of traffic passing by all the time. Fashion Craft isn't a huge factory, just a workspace where we get things done. We have a few sewing machines and a large table for cutting fabric. Most of the time, the floor is covered in small scraps of thread and cloth. We try to keep it tidy, but it's hard when you're in the middle of a job. The noise from the machines is constant, but we've gotten used to it over the years. It’s a small group of us working here, and we mostly just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the lift in Kailash Towers is slow, so we end up taking the stairs with heavy bags. It keeps us fit, I suppose. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and see us working. The 90-Feet Road has everything you need nearby, so we usually grab lunch from one of the stalls downstairs. It’s a practical way to work. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements; we just rely on people seeing us here or hearing about us from others in the building. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders.
