Kalbadevi is a busy place. We are right near Metro Cinema. We've been doing advertising stuff for years. People come in with ideas for banners or small ads. Sometimes it gets crowded in the office. We just handle the work as it comes. It's an old building in Khand Bajar. The walls are a bit thin so you hear the traffic. Most days we are just busy with the machines or talking to people about their designs. It isn't a fancy office. Just some desks and computers. We started this a long time ago. My father used to be here too. Now it's mostly us. We know the neighbors. The tea stall guy brings us chai twice a day. Kalbadevi has changed but our spot is still the same. People find us because of the landmark. If you know the cinema, you can find us. We don't do big flashy meetings. We just sit down and figure out what needs to be printed or put up. It’s practical work. Sometimes the rain makes the street messy, but that's just how it is here. We keep things simple. No big promises, just getting the banners ready on time. We also help out with smaller things like visiting cards when someone is just starting a business. It’s a lot of small jobs that add up. We stay until the shutters go down late at night. The city moves fast but we try to keep our pace.
