We are located on the ground floor at F24 in the Bhiwandiwala Terrace building. Our address is on Jaganath Shankar Sheth Marg in the Dhobi Talao area of Kalbadevi. Famous Medical And General Stores Llp is a local shop that has been around for a while. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. Being in Kalbadevi means it’s always crowded and noisy outside. We have a lot of walk-in customers because of our location on the ground floor. The shop is filled with all sorts of medical supplies and general items. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every shelf is packed. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you don’t know where things are. We have a small team of us working the counters. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like neighbors. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the traffic outside. We keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer. It’s a very busy environment, especially in the evenings. We deal with a lot of different suppliers every day. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving crates and stocking shelves. We don't use fancy marketing. People just know where we are. We just keep doing what we do.
