Our place is at No.41 in the Ajay Mittal Industrial Estate. It’s in Marol, right off the Andheri Kurla Road in Andheri East. Fachmann Facilities India Pvt. Ltd. is basically about keeping buildings running. We do everything from cleaning to fixing the plumbing and managing the electricity. Being in an industrial estate means we’re surrounded by other businesses, so it’s always busy and there’s always something going on. Our office is more like a warehouse sometimes, with all the cleaning supplies and tools stacked up in the corners. We have a lot of people working for us across different buildings in Mumbai. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everyone’s schedule and make sure they have what they need for their shift. We aren't really a 'suit and tie' kind of company. We’re usually in our work clothes because you never know when you’ll have to jump in and help with a repair. Andheri East is a hectic place to be, but it’s where the work is. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the area change a lot over the years. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done so our clients don't have to worry about their offices being dirty or the lights not working. It’s not glamorous, but it’s necessary work. We just show up, do the job, and move on to the next one. That’s how we keep things going in a city like this.
