Kanishka Consultancy operates out of Sopariwala Estate, specifically in unit D-19. If you are looking for us, we are near the old Roxy Cinema, which most locals know well. Being at Opera House means we are in the middle of all the Charni Road chaos, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Our office isn't anything like those big corporate hubs you see in the movies. It’s a practical space where we sit down and talk to people about their problems and plans. Most of the morning is spent checking emails and waiting for the morning train crowd to settle down so we can hear ourselves think. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a kettle that gets used way too much. People come to us when they need a bit of advice or help with their paperwork. We don't use big words or try to act like we know everything, we just use what we’ve learned from doing this job for a long time. The estate is an older building, so it has that specific smell of old paper and dust, but it feels like home to us. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to close the windows, but then it gets too hot. It’s just how it is working in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work day in and day out.
