Versova has a specific kind of feel, especially when you get into the lanes behind the telephone exchange. Bungalow Number 46 is tucked away on 100 M Bunglow Lane. It is a bit quieter back here than on the main road. Eye Candy Films operates out of this space, and it definitely doesn't feel like a standard office building. There is a small garden area out front that gets a lot of sun in the mornings. Sometimes you can smell the sea air if the wind is blowing the right way. Working in a bungalow means we have a lot of stairs and different rooms for different things. The lane itself is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache for anyone visiting. We spend a lot of time here, often late into the night. Andheri West is always moving, but this little pocket feels separate from the rest of the chaos. We have a kitchen where we make way too much coffee. It is an old house with a lot of character, maybe some creaky floors here and there. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families who have been in Versova for decades. You get to know the delivery guys and the local cats that hang around the gate. It is a practical setup for what we do, nothing too flashy, just a place where the work happens. We keep the gate closed because the local dogs like to wander in, but otherwise, it is a very open spot for us.
