Our base is over in Parel, specifically at the spot marked 41359. Working in Parel means you are always in the thick of it, with the old mills and the new buildings all mixed together. We focus on cultural events, which means a lot of different things depending on the month. Sometimes it is traditional festivals, other times it is something more modern. The office is a bit of a mess right now because we have some decorations and props leaning against the walls. It’s just how it goes when you are planning things. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s just a few of us who know how to get things moved and set up. The hours are never really nine to five. If there is an event happening, we are probably there at three in the morning making sure the stage is right. It’s a lot of physical work and standing around in the sun or rain. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or marketing. Most of our work comes from people who have seen what we do before. Parel is a good spot for us because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily, even with the traffic. It is a practical life, mostly spent on the phone or on-site, just trying to make sure the culture stays alive in the events we help out with for the city.
