Excellent International Courier Services

Our place is in Bandra West, right in the middle of all the action that happens in this part of town. Excellent International Courier Services is basically just a room full of boxes, tape, and weighing scales. Every morning starts with sorting out the packages that came in late the night before. Bandra is a crowded area, so getting the delivery vans in and out of the narrow lanes can be a real struggle sometimes. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and making sure the addresses are written clearly so nothing gets lost. People come in with all sorts of things to send abroad, like home-cooked snacks for their kids or old clothes. The tape dispenser makes a loud noise that you can hear all day long. It isn't a quiet job, and my hands usually have some ink on them by the end of the shift. We have a small stool for people to sit on while they wait, but mostly it is just standing and talking over the counter. The weather gets really humid here, so the packages can feel a bit damp if we don't keep them off the floor. We just try to get the boxes moving as fast as we can. It is a simple setup without any corporate polish. We just focus on the boxes and the labels and getting through the daily pile of work.
