We work out of Flat No 3 in the Sushant Building up in Malabar Hill. It’s a quiet residential area but our work is usually anything but quiet once things get moving. We spend our time planning things for people who have something to celebrate with their friends and family. It could be a small dinner or a larger gathering at a local venue. We don't have a big storefront with signs, just our office where we take calls and make lists all day. Managing an event means talking to a lot of different people like flower sellers, cooks, and light guys. We spend hours on the phone making sure things arrive on the right day and time. Malabar Hill is a nice place to be based, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare for visitors who come to see us. We’ve been here for some time now and we like the neighborhood. We don't use fancy jargon; we just figure out what needs to happen and try to make it work within the space available. Every day is different because one day we might be looking at fabric samples and the next we are checking sound systems. It’s a lot of logistics and detail work that people don't usually see from the outside. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come to us. It’s a small operation but we stay busy throughout the year. Most of our work comes from local word of mouth.
