Jagtap Chowk is a lively part of Andheri East, and that’s where we are based. We work out of Rozara Abort, which is easy enough to find if you are in the neighborhood. Event management sounds like a lot of glamour, but for us, it’s mostly about lists, phone calls, and making sure the right people show up at the right time. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s a workspace filled with files, old event photos, and a lot of notebooks. We spend a lot of time on our feet or stuck in traffic trying to get to different venues across the city. Being in Andheri East helps because we are fairly central to a lot of our suppliers. We don't have a big mission statement or a set of corporate values posted on the wall. We just try to make sure that when someone asks us to organize something, it actually happens the way they want. There are a lot of moving parts in this job, and things rarely go exactly as planned, so we’ve learned to be flexible. It’s a bit of a messy process behind the scenes, involving a lot of late nights and early mornings. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we’ve seen all sorts of events come through Jagtap Chowk. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and we like the pace.
