Elegant Decorators

We are tucked away in Vatsa House, which is on Caves Road in Jogeshwari. Our spot is number 15, right near the Premsons Shopping Centre. It’s not a very big place, but we manage to fit all our decorating supplies in there. There are rolls of fabric stacked in the corners and containers of paint sitting under the tables. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving ladders around so much. Jogeshwari is always moving, so there’s a lot of noise from the street that comes through the windows. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through inventory and seeing what needs to be fixed. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. People stop by to look at samples, and we usually have to clear off a chair for them to sit down. The shopping centre nearby is where we grab our lunch most days. It’s convenient having it so close. We’ve been at this address for quite a few years now. The landlord is okay, and the other people in the building mostly keep to themselves. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights in the shop. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things ready. Sometimes we work late into the night when there's a big job coming up, and the street gets quiet except for the occasional rickshaw. It’s just how we do things here without making it too complicated or formal for anyone who comes to visit us.
