Eiffel Stagging

Our shop is located at Masrani Estate in Kurla West. It is Shop Number 1, right inside Favourite Industrial Estate. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Waco Compound. It is a busy part of town and the noise from the industrial area is something we have gotten used to over the years. We do staging work here, which basically means we are always moving heavy things around. The floor is usually covered in sawdust or bits of tape. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, one of us just wipes their hands and comes over when someone walks through the door. It’s not the cleanest place in Mumbai but it is where the work happens. Sometimes the monsoon makes the roof leak a little, so we have to move the equipment around to keep it dry. We spend a lot of time fixing stuff that gets banged up during transport. The industrial estate has a lot of small businesses like ours. We know the guys in the shops next door and we sometimes borrow tools from each other. It’s a basic setup with a few workbenches and some old shelves. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just a few of us trying to get things ready for the next job. Kurla can be a tough place to navigate with all the traffic, but we’ve been here long enough that we know all the shortcuts by now.
