Ebony Ship Management {As Fleet Maanagers}

We operate out of Bhandup West in Mumbai. Ship management sounds like a big, fancy job, but for us at Ebony Ship Management, it's mostly about a lot of paperwork and constant phone calls to different ports. We deal with the day-to-day stuff that keeps a fleet moving. It’s not always glamorous. Most days involve checking logs, talking to crew members, and making sure maintenance schedules are being followed. Mumbai is the heart of the maritime world in India, so being in Bhandup puts us right in the middle of everything. Our office is a bit cluttered with charts and technical manuals. We aren't a huge multinational corporation with thousands of staff. We are a dedicated team that knows these ships inside and out. Sometimes things go wrong halfway across the ocean, and we have to stay up all night to coordinate repairs or supplies. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we've been doing it long enough that we don't panic. We don't have a polished marketing team to write these things for us. We just focus on the vessels we are responsible for. It’s a tough industry, and you have to be honest about what can and can’t be done. We stay busy, we keep our heads down, and we make sure the fleet is where it needs to be. That's really all there is to it. The sea doesn't care about your titles, so we just focus on doing the work properly every single day for the owners.
