Duphar - Interfran Ltd.

Duphar - Interfran Ltd. is tucked away in F/5 of the Shivsagar Estate. Being on Dr. Annie Besant Road in Worli sounds fancy to people who don't live in Mumbai, but for us, it just means dealing with the constant hum of traffic outside. The estate has that old-school feel to it, with sturdy walls and stairs that have been climbed thousands of times. Our space is functional. There’s a lot of back and forth between the desks, and the phones seem to have a life of their own some afternoons. We aren't really into the whole modern office culture with bean bags or espresso machines. We have a water cooler that makes a loud glugging sound and a clock that’s five minutes fast, which actually helps most of us catch the bus on time. The air conditioning works most of the time, though the corner by the window always stays a bit warmer than the rest. It’s a busy environment because there is always something to ship or a report to finish up. We see the same faces every day, the courier guys, the tea boy, and the neighbors from the other offices in the estate. It’s just the way it is here. We focus on the tasks at hand, keep our heads down, and try to stay organized amidst all the files and boxes that seem to multiply overnight in the storage area.
