The traffic is almost always backed up and there are people everywhere, but that is part of the charm of working here. Our office is tucked away and we use it as our main base for coming up with ideas for different events. It is a lot of talking and sketching things out on pads. We have shelves full of old files and samples from past jobs. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we find what we need eventually. We usually have the windows open to get some air, even though it brings in all the noise from the market outside. It’s a very local way of working. We spend our mornings drinking coffee and going through the to-do list for the day. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a plan or talk to a supplier who is only free in the evening. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just work out of this old building in Kalbadevi and try to do a decent job with whatever comes our way. It gets tiring but it is what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done every single day regardless of how busy the street is.
