Dovex Courier & Cargo

Being located in Sahar Chaturshrungi 33 puts us right in the middle of a lot of movement. This place is usually full of wooden crates and heavy plastic wrapping for the larger shipments. We handle both small letters and much larger cargo that needs to be moved across the city or even further away. The phone rings a lot throughout the day, usually people asking where their stuff is or how much it will cost to send a big box to their relatives. We don't have a fancy waiting area for customers, just a simple wooden bench for anyone who needs to sit while we fill out the shipping forms. The air smells a bit like cardboard and diesel from the big trucks passing by outside on the main road. Our team is quite small, mostly just a few of us who have been doing this kind of work for a long time now. We know the shortcuts around Sahar to avoid the worst of the traffic, which really helps when we need to get things out quickly. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult during the monsoon, and we have to be extra careful with the waterproof covers for the cargo. It is a practical kind of job, with no frills or decorations on the walls, just the gear we need to move freight every day. We use a lot of tape and thick markers to label everything. Most of our day is spent checking weights and making sure the labels stay put before the trucks arrive.
