Doctors Chemist & General Store

Doctors Chemist & General Store is situated at Shop No 9 in the Madina Building on Bazar Road. If you are in Bandra West and find yourself behind the Sahiba Hotel, you’ll see our shop right there. We are a mix of a pharmacy and a local shop where you can pick up daily essentials. The space is quite narrow, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the shelves so things don't fall. One side is all about medicines and syrups, while the other side has things like snacks, shampoo, and household cleaners. It’s a busy street, so we get all kinds of people coming in at different times of the day. In the mornings, it’s usually people looking for their regular pills, and in the evenings, we get a lot of folks picking up bread or milk on their way home from work. The Madina Building is an old structure, and our shop has that lived-in feel to it. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when the power fluctuates, but we just keep going. It’s a noisy area with the bazar right outside, but we’ve grown used to the shouting of vendors and the honking of rickshaws. We don't have any fancy displays or marketing; it’s all about having what people need when they need it. It’s a practical little shop that serves the local neighborhood in a very basic and honest way.
