I’m based out of the Nrc Colony over on Mohne Road in Ambivali. It’s right near the Nrc Company, which is how most people find me if they are looking for my place. I’ve lived in this part of Thane for a long time so I know the roads and the people quite well. My setup isn’t anything too crazy, just the gear I need to make some noise at parties or local gatherings. I spend a lot of my time checking cables and making sure the speakers are still sounding okay after the last gig. Sometimes the dust around here gets into the equipment and I have to spend the whole afternoon cleaning it out with a small brush and some cloth. It’s just me usually, though I have a friend who helps move the heavy boxes when there’s a big event. Ambivali is a bit quieter than the main city but it has its own vibe that I like. I like being tucked away here because I can test the volume without bothering too many neighbors, though I still have to be careful not to be too loud late at night. The Mohne Road can get a bit bumpy so I have to pack the van really carefully so nothing breaks on the way to a show. The humidity also messes with the electronics sometimes so I keep everything covered up. It’s a simple life and I enjoy the music part of it the most. People around the colony know me as the guy with the speakers.
