We operate out of 20 Jerabai Building in Parel. It’s an old place, and the walls are thick, which is good because we handle a lot of sound equipment and speakers. Being a DJ and organizer means the office is usually full of black crates, tangled cables, and gear waiting to be tested before the next gig. It’s not the most organized looking spot, but we know exactly where everything is stored. Parel is always moving, and there is a lot of energy right outside our front door. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the gear is ready for the next event. Sometimes we are here very late at night after a show, just unloading the van and trying not to wake the neighbors in the building. The structure itself has that old Mumbai charm, though the plumbing can be a bit temperamental on the upper floors. We don't have fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables that can hold the weight of the mixers and controllers. There is a small desk in the corner where we do the booking stuff, but mostly we are on our feet moving heavy things around. It’s a bit dusty because of the roadwork nearby, but we try to keep the electronics clean and covered up. It’s a busy life, and this room is our home base between all the weddings and parties we have to get to. We just get on with it every day.
