Diya Chocolate

Diya Chocolate is run out of Vivek Building No 12 in Bandra East. We are in a flat here, so it is not your typical storefront on a main road. It is much more of a home-based setup. Being in a residential building means we have to be mindful of the neighbors and keep things relatively quiet. Bandra East is a bit more laid back than the West side, and we like that. The building is older, and our flat has that comfortable, lived-in feel. We use the kitchen and the main room for most of our work. There is always a bit of a mess with supplies taking up space on the tables. We do not have a staff of twenty people. It is just us handling everything from the orders to the packing. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding the right wing of Vivek Building, so we spend a lot of time on the phone giving directions. It is a very personal way to run a business. We are not trying to scale up into some massive corporation. We just like working from here and keeping things manageable. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and a bit of the street below. It is a quiet life, mostly. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. It is nothing fancy, but it works for us and the space we have.
