You can find us over at Basling Chawl No.3, specifically in Room No. 2. It’s a modest setup here in Mumbai, but it works for what we do. We handle both architecture and interior design, so there is always something going on. Being in a chawl means we are right in the middle of the community, which we actually prefer over a cold office building. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the local street life, but it keeps things interesting. We spend our mornings checking on emails and our afternoons usually involve going to different sites to see how the interiors are coming along. We don’t have a receptionist or anything, so if you come by, you’ll just see us working at our tables. There’s usually a lot of catalogs for tiles and wood finishes lying around. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have gotten to know the people around 400 084 quite well. It’s not a fancy place, just a room where we draw up plans and figure out how to make spaces look better. We don’t use big words to describe what we do; we just take a client's idea and try to put it on paper properly. It’s a lot of practical work and honest effort to make sure everything fits right. We focus on the details.
