Divyas Arts is tucked away in the old Bombay Talkies Compound in Andheri. It's an old area with a lot of history behind it that you can still feel. We are in Pankaj-A, number 20 on Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg. It’s a bit of a walk through the compound to find us if you’ve never been here before. We deal with arts in various forms every day. The space is often cluttered with materials and half-finished pieces that we are working on. It smells like paint and old paper sometimes when you walk in. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. Usually, one of us just looks up when the door opens. Andheri is always moving fast outside, but inside the compound, it feels a bit slower and quieter. We’ve been here long enough to know all the neighbors in the other units. People come to us when they need something specific made or designed for them. We don't promise the moon, just that we will do the work properly. It takes time to get things right, so we don't like to rush through projects. Sometimes we get stuck on a design for days before it clicks. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure to show off. What you see is what you get. Just a bunch of people working on art in a quiet corner of Andheri.
