Distinct Events

Distinct Events is tucked away in the Jay Laxmi Industrial Estate, specifically at unit S-2 in Chembur. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not the most glamorous place to visit, but it works for what we do. Having a spot here gives us the space we need to store equipment and get things organized for the various events we handle. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the estate. Most days start early with checking lists and making sure the loaders didn't forget anything important. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with coffee. Usually, you’ll find us sitting around a cluttered desk or checking some gear in the back. We do all sorts of events, from small parties to bigger gatherings, though we don't go on about it much. It’s just work. People come to us because they know we are nearby in Chembur and we get the job done without making a big fuss. The office can be a bit messy sometimes, especially when we have several projects going on at once. We like the practical side of things. If something needs fixing, we fix it ourselves. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We focus on the actual tasks rather than making everything look perfect on paper. It's a lot of manual work and long hours, but we keep at it because it's what we know how to do. Things move fast around here and we like that.
