Dinesh Balraj

My name is Dinesh Balraj and I run my business from 41 Balaji Co-Op Housing Society. This is in Charkop, Sector No 6, over in Kandivili West. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so I’m very used to the way things go here. My workspace is just a room in the housing society. It’s not a commercial building with a big sign out front. I think this makes it feel a bit more relaxed for everyone. I don't have a team of secretaries or assistants. I do the work myself, from the first phone call to the final result. Charkop is a nice neighborhood and being in a cooperative housing society means I know my neighbors well. I don’t use fancy marketing words to describe what I do. I just try to be helpful and get the tasks done on time. Most of my clients are local people from Kandivili who have heard about me through word of mouth. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet and other times I’m swamped with work, but that’s just how it goes when you’re on your own. I keep my files organized as best as I can, even though the desk gets covered in papers sometimes. It’s a practical and honest way to make a living. I like being my own boss and working from a place I know so well. The neighborhood is usually quiet during the day which helps me focus. I'll probably stay at Balaji Society as long as I can.
