Diaspore Events

At Diaspore Events, we work out of Cottage No 19. It is tucked away in Aram Nagar Part 2, right off Yari Road in Versova, Andheri West. This area is a bit different from the rest of Mumbai because of all these old cottages. It doesn't feel like a typical business district. There are trees around and the pace feels a little slower, even though we are still in the middle of Andheri. Our cottage is our office. It has a small front area where we sometimes sit and talk. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and some storage for our gear. We like it this way because it feels more like a home than a sterile office building. Sometimes the neighbor’s cat comes by and sits on the porch. It is a bit informal, which suits us. We don't have a big sign out front, so you have to look for the cottage number. It is a quiet street mostly, until the evening when people start heading to the cafes on Yari Road. We have been here for a while and the locals know us. It is a good spot for thinking and planning without the constant noise of the main road. The walls are a bit old and maybe need a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It is just a simple, honest workspace where we handle our daily business.
