Devankit Textiles Llp

Devankit Textiles Llp is based in South Mumbai, right in the Churchgate area. We are on the 4th floor of Dalamal Chambers, which is a well-known building on Vitthaldas Thackarsey Marg. Being in New Marine Lines means we are near the courts and a lot of old business offices. Our room is 403A and it is a bit of a classic Mumbai office setup. The ceilings are high but the space feels full because of all the files and fabric samples we keep around. You can hear the city noise from the windows, especially the traffic and the occasional train whistle from the station nearby. We spend a lot of our time going through ledgers and talking to suppliers on the phone. The elevator in the building is one of those older types and it can be a bit slow when everyone is coming back from lunch. We do not have any flashy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a map. It is a busy place where we deal with the administrative side of textiles as much as the product itself. Sometimes the office feels a bit stuffy, so we take breaks to walk down the hallway or grab a quick tea downstairs. It is a very traditional way of doing business in a part of the city that has seen a lot of history. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs finishing.
