Design House

Royal Palms is a decent enough area and we’re located at number 243. It’s where Design House runs from. If you walk in, you’ll see it’s a pretty basic setup. We have some computers, a few drawing boards, and way too many half-empty coffee mugs. The light is good in the afternoons which helps when we're trying to figure out colors or layouts. We don’t spend much time on fancy speeches. Most of our day is just quiet work, punctuated by the sound of someone clicking a mouse or talking to a client on speakerphone. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the neighbors are used to us by now. Sometimes we have samples of materials cluttering up the floor, so you have to watch your step. We don't really have a big corporate structure. It's just a few of us who know how to handle design projects without making a big fuss about it. People come to us when they need something drawn up or planned out, and we just sit down and do it. It’s not always glamorous work, and sometimes the deadlines make things a bit stressful, but we like having a place like this to come to. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure everything fits the way it’s supposed to. It's just what we do here at 243 Royal Palms.
