Design Array

You can find us at 01, Vishakha Arcade. It’s right on the ground level, which makes it easy for people to just walk in when they have a question. Design Array isn't a massive studio with glass walls. It’s a small shop where we sit and work on designs all day. The walls are a bit plain, but the computer screens are always bright with whatever we are drawing up. We have a lot of paper samples scattered around because we like to feel the textures of the materials we use. The arcade has a bit of a breeze coming through the hallway most mornings. We usually start the day by cleaning the glass front and turning on the machines. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly. Occasionally, we have a bunch of people crowded around one desk trying to fix a layout or choose a color. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make things look right on the page or the screen. There’s a tea shop around the corner that we visit about three times a day. We keep our own hours sometimes if a job is running long. It’s just a local spot where we try to be useful to the people who need us. We don't have a secretary or anything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. It’s just how we run things here in the arcade.
