Deepak Rao

My name is Deepak Rao and I run my business out of the Kirti Mandir Building. It’s No 1 on L J Road, right across from where the Reliance Communication office is in Mahim. I’ve been in this spot for a long time now. The building is an old one, and it has that classic Mahim feel to it. My office isn't very large, just a room with my desk and some files. I don't have a lot of staff or any fancy equipment. It’s a practical place where I can get my work done without too many distractions. L J Road is always busy with traffic and people walking by, so there’s always noise coming in from the windows. I don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of my clients are people who have known me for years or locals who just walk in. I keep my hours pretty regular, but sometimes I’m out for meetings. It’s a straightforward setup. I don't see the need for a polished corporate office. This place works for me and the people I deal with. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the window, but I just put a towel down. It’s just a small local operation here in Mahim. I handle everything myself, from the phone calls to the paperwork. I’ve lived in this area for years, so I know most of the people on this street.
