Deepak Decorator is situated on Marol Maroshi Road, specifically at J B Marg 1. We handle things for events and local gatherings. It’s more of a warehouse than a shop. We have stacks of chairs, folded tents, and rolls of fabric stored up to the ceiling. It’s a bit dusty because of all the cloth. We’ve been in Marol for a long time. The traffic on Maroshi Road is usually pretty bad, so we have to plan our deliveries early in the morning. We have a small truck that we use to haul the stuff around. My sons help me with the heavy lifting. It’s hard work, especially in the heat. We don't have an office with air conditioning. Just a wooden table where we take notes and talk to people. Most of our work comes from neighbors or people who saw us at a wedding. We don't do any online ads. The phone rings a lot during the festival season. Sometimes we are working through the night to get a stage ready. It’s a messy business with lots of rope and tape everywhere. We try to keep things organized, but when three events happen at once, it gets chaotic. J B Marg is a familiar spot for us. We know the other shop owners on the street. It’s just a regular local business doing what we can. We keep the equipment ready for the next job.
