Deccan Courier

Deccan Courier operates out of Gala B 2 in the Fateh Estate. We are right on the 90 Feet Road in Andheri East, specifically in the Brindavan Nagar area on J P Park Road. If you know the 2nd Main, you’ll find us easily enough. Our gala is always full of parcels and envelopes waiting to be sorted or sent out. It’s a busy environment because people are always dropping things off or couriers are coming in to pick up their bags for the day. The estate is quite crowded with other small businesses, so there’s always a lot of loading and unloading going on in the common areas. We have a simple desk at the front where we log everything in. The floor is usually covered in tape scraps and bubble wrap. It’s a bit chaotic during the peak hours when everyone is trying to get their shipments out before the cut-off time. We don't have much in the way of decor, just some maps on the wall and a few benches for people to sit on. The air is often thick with the smell of exhaust from the vans parked outside on the street. We just focus on getting the addresses right and making sure the packages are moving. It’s a lot of physical work and staying on top of the logs. 90 Feet Road is never quiet, so we’ve learned to work through the constant honking and the heat that builds up in the afternoons.
