D H L Express (India) Pvt Ltd has a presence here on Sion Main Road, at number 7. This is a very busy part of the city, and being on the main road means we are right in the thick of it. The shop is small and focused on one thing: getting parcels where they need to go. We have a counter where people bring their packages and a scale to weigh everything. It’s a functional space with bright lights and a lot of papers around. Even though we are part of a bigger name, this specific spot on Sion Main Road feels like a local shop. We know the regulars who come in to send documents to their families or businesses. The traffic outside is constant, and the sound of horns is something we just ignore now. We keep the place as clean as we can, but with people coming in and out all day, it’s a challenge. We have our computers to scan the barcodes and trackers. It’s a fast-paced environment, and we usually have a tea break standing up because there’s always another customer waiting. We are just here at number 7, doing the work and making sure every box is labeled correctly before it goes out on the truck. It gets hectic around the holidays, but we just keep working through the stack.
