Creative Event & Promotions

If you go down Tank Road in Orlem, you’ll see Siddhivinayak Tower. We are in Shop 19. Creative Event & Promotions isn’t a huge operation. It’s mostly just a few of us trying to keep all the pieces of a project together. The walls are covered in calendars and old posters from things we’ve worked on. Malad West is always crowded, so getting things in and out of the shop can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at laptop screens. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes it’s just sorting through boxes of flyers or making sure a sound system actually works before it goes out. We’ve had this spot for years and it’s become a bit like a second home. The neighbors know us, and we know the best place to get a quick snack when we’re working late. We don’t have a big reception desk or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will probably be sitting there surrounded by stuff. It gets chaotic during the festival seasons, but that’s just the nature of what we do. We try to keep things simple. If a job comes in, we figure out a way to get it done without too much fuss. We've seen plenty of shops come and go on this street, but we've managed to stick around by just being reliable and showing up every day.
