Creation

Our business, which is just called Creation, is located at No. 451 Maulana Azad Road. We are up on the 3rd floor, which is a bit of a climb since the building is older, but it is a good spot once you get up there. We are quite close to Gol Deval, so it is a very busy part of the city with a lot of history and old buildings all around us. The street level is always loud with people selling things and carts moving by, but on the 3rd floor, it is a little bit quieter. We have a lot of windows that let in some air, which is nice when it gets stuffy. The workspace is filled with the things we are working on, mostly fabric and patterns. We have been in this spot for years and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories. It is a very traditional way of working, sitting at the benches and focusing on the task at hand. We don't have any fancy elevators or air conditioning that works all the time, just the fans and the natural light. Most of the people who work here have been coming to this same building for a long time. It feels like home in a way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be finished before the day ends. We don't worry too much about being modern or fancy.
