You can find us in Building No1, Module No. 7. Craftsman Events Pvt.Ltd. isn’t really a place where we sit still for very long. Most of the time, we are on the phone or checking lists. Our module is often filled with crates, rolled-up carpets, or boxes of decorations that just came back from a site. It’s a bit of a mess right after a big event finishes. We spend a lot of time worrying about small things like whether the microphones will work or if the chairs will arrive on time. It’s a lot of pressure, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we don’t panic anymore. Most of our work happens out at hotels or convention centers, but this is where the planning gets done. The office is functional. We have a few desks and a big map on the wall. We don’t use corporate jargon here. We just talk about what needs to happen to make an event go smoothly. Sometimes we stay late to finish a plan, and other times the place is empty because we are all out working on-site. It’s a varied job. One day we are looking at flowers and the next we are talking about sound systems or stage heights. We take it as it comes and try to stay organized, even when things get a bit chaotic during the busy season. It is just the nature of the business we are in.
