Our office is situated at 314 Sakinaka, right at the Saki Naka Junction on Andheri Kurla Road. We are inside the Sahar Tech Plaza, which is a very busy building in a very busy part of Mumbai. Comnet Publishers Pvt Ltd has been here for years. If you know the junction, you know how hectic it gets with the metro construction and the constant flow of vehicles. Our space is full of books, manuscripts, and stacks of paper. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent editing or checking proofs before they go to print. We have a small staff who have been with us for a long time. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The noise from the junction usually fades into the background after you’ve worked here for a few months. Sahar Tech Plaza has many different businesses, so we see all kinds of people in the elevators. We don't go for anything fancy. The furniture is functional and the lighting is just okay. We focus on the publishing side of things and don't worry much about how the office looks. It is a practical place for people who like to read and work with words. It’s always a bit of a rush to meet our printing dates, but we manage somehow. We just keep our heads down and get the pages ready.
