Clove

Clove is our little shop in Thakur Village, over in Kandivali East. We have been part of this neighborhood for a bit of time now. It is a cozy place where we sell things we think the local people will like. It is not a big chain store or anything corporate like that. We try to keep the atmosphere inside the shop very relaxed. Thakur Village is a great community, and we see a lot of the same friendly faces every single day. The shop itself is not huge, so we have to be quite careful about what we put on the shelves for people to buy. We do not have a massive marketing budget to play with. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance of the shop. We might have some clothes, some small home items, or just little things that catch the eye. It is a bit of a mix, really. Sometimes we rearrange the whole place on a Sunday just to change the feel of it. It is just a few of us working here. We handle everything from the morning cleaning to the evening sales. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else making all the decisions for us. If we want to try something new, we just go ahead and do it. It is a simple way of running things. We like the personal connection we have with the people who come in.
