Classic Decorator

Classic Decorator is in Jogeshwari West, right along the Sanand Viramgam Highway at number 26. We spend most of our time dealing with fabrics, wooden frames, and lots of lighting equipment. It is not your typical office job. Most days involve loading up a small truck with curtains and decorative pieces to take to a site. The workshop is always a bit messy with bits of thread, tape, and old carpets lying around. We don't really have a fancy front for the shop because most of our work happens out at the venues. When we are here, we are usually repairing stuff or sewing new backdrops. The highway noise is constant, so we have gotten used to the sound of horns and engines. It is hard work, especially when we have to set things up late at night or early in the morning for an event. We don't talk much about design philosophy or anything like that. We just look at the space we have to work with and figure out how to make it look decent with what we have in the warehouse. Sometimes the weather makes it difficult, but we just get on with it. It is just a handful of us working together, making sure the curtains are straight and the lights actually turn on. We have been doing this in the Jogeshwari area for a good while now. It is just about being reliable and showing up when we say we will.
