We are located in the Jagat Vidya building over at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai. It's room A-1001, way up on the tenth floor. Being in Bandra East means the traffic is usually a mess, so most of us are pretty tired by the time we get to our desks. The office is a busy place with a lot of people handling global services. It is mostly computer work and phones ringing. Since it is Citigroup, there is a lot of process and many steps for every task. We just try to keep our heads down and get the work finished. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the street below. We get a lot of people coming in and out, and the security downstairs is pretty strict about badges. Lunchtime is when everyone heads out to find something to eat near the complex. It’s a very professional area, but inside the office, we are just a team trying to stay on top of the workload. Some of us have been here since the office opened, and others are just starting out. It is a big operation, but we try to keep it manageable. We don't have fancy decorations, just our desks and the equipment we need to do the job. It’s just how things are at our Mumbai branch. We share a lot of work and sometimes we stay late to finish up.
