It’s a very central location, which helps because we are always moving packages around. The shop is usually full of parcels and envelopes waiting to go out. We’ve got a few bikes parked outside most of the time. It’s a fast-paced job. We don’t have much time for sitting around. The phone rings a lot and we are always checking addresses. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s a controlled kind of chaos. We’ve been doing this for a long time. Our team knows the streets of Mumbai like the back of their hands. We don't use any high-tech sorting machines. We do it all by hand and memory. It works for us. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be organized with the space we have. We get to know the regulars who come in to drop off their mail. It’s nice to have that connection. We aren't a giant global corporation. We are just a local courier trying to get things from one point to another without any trouble. It’s a lot of legwork, but we are used to it by now. We close up once the last delivery is back for the day and the shutters go down.
