Cipla

Our spot is Flat No BG2 in Ponda, Goa. It’s a ground floor unit, which makes it easy for deliveries and for us to come and go without dealing with elevators or too many stairs. Ponda is a nice area, a bit more inland so we don’t get the tourists as much as the coast does. The building is pretty standard for the neighborhood. Inside, we’ve laid out the tables in a way that gives everyone enough room to move around. It’s a bit cool inside because of the stone floors, which is a relief when the Goa heat starts to climb in the middle of the day. We have the usual office stuff—printers that sometimes act up, plenty of pens that seem to go missing, and a big calendar on the wall to track the weeks. We don't have a team of people to clean or decorate; we mostly just tidy up after ourselves at the end of the day. Cipla has a presence here to handle the local side of things. It’s a quiet place to work. We don't have many walk-ins, so mostly it’s just the sound of keyboard typing and the occasional phone call. It’s not a flashy setup, but it’s ours and it works for what we need to accomplish. We just take it one day at a time and keep the operations running smoothly from this little flat. There’s a small grocery shop just down the road where we get snacks and milk for the office.
