Chocolicious

Working out of Royal Palace in Andheri West keeps us right in the middle of everything. Chocolicious is located specifically in X-16 of Shastri Nagar, over in the South Block area. It is a place that always smells like cocoa and sugar, which I suppose is a good thing for most people who walk by. The kitchen area gets quite warm, especially when we are in the middle of a big batch, so we are always moving around trying to stay organized. Andheri is a fast place, and we feel that energy every day. We aren't a giant factory or anything like that; it is a more personal setup where we handle the ingredients ourselves. The floors can get a bit sticky by the end of a long shift, and there is always something that needs cleaning. We spend a lot of time checking the temperatures and making sure the packaging looks alright before anything goes out. It’s a lot of manual work that people don't always see. The Royal Palace building has a lot of other activities going on, so there is a constant stream of people coming and going. We have been here for a bit, and the locals in Shastri Nagar know where to find us when they want something sweet. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do, and we just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
