If you're looking for us, we are in Shop No 9, C Wing of the Dharti Co-op in Andheri West. We’re tucked right behind the telephone exchange, which is a good landmark if you get lost. Working at Chocolate Pictures means we spend a lot of our time in the dark, mostly because we are editing videos or looking at footage on big screens. The shop isn't huge, so it gets pretty crowded when we have all our cameras and tripods out for a project. We usually have half-finished cups of tea sitting around and stacks of hard drives everywhere. It’s a bit messy, but that’s just how production work goes. We’ve been in this part of Andheri West for a while now and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. There are always other creative people around, but we mostly just stick to our own space and get the editing done. Sometimes we stay here really late into the night to finish a cut, and the area gets nice and quiet then. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk into the shop and we’re right there working. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We like it that way because we can see exactly what we are making every single day. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of footage to sort through until it looks right.
