Up in Bandra West 201, you’ll find Choc Roc. It’s not a huge place, just a small shop where we handle everything ourselves. Working with chocolate in this heat can be a real struggle, so we have to keep the AC running constantly, which makes the electric bill pretty high. The space is a bit cramped once you get all the supplies and the fridge in there. We spend a lot of our time tempering and molding, which takes a lot of patience. Sometimes things don’t set right and we have to start over. That’s just part of the job. Bandra is a busy place, and there’s always something happening on the street outside. We get a lot of different people coming through the door, from folks living in the nearby apartments to people just passing through the area. We don’t have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us in the shop, washing dishes and making sure the display looks decent. The floor is a bit uneven in one corner, so you have to watch your step. We try to keep things relaxed and low-key. We aren't trying to be the trendiest spot in town; we just want to make sure the stuff we put out is solid. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually covered in something by the end of the shift, but we’re used to it now. It's just a small shop in Bandra.
